A tutte le donne, in occasione dell’8 Marzo
Oggi celebriamo noi, donne instancabili, il motore di ogni cosa. Siamo quelle che danno vita, che creano, che sostengono. Siamo forza, passione e resilienza.
Ma oggi vorrei anche ricordare un’altra cosa: il vero potere delle donne sta nella comunità, non nella competizione. Invece di lasciarci sopraffare dalla gelosia o dall’invidia, trasformiamole in ispirazione, in confronto con noi stesse per crescere, migliorare e sostenerci a vicenda. Perché quando una donna brilla, illumina il cammino anche per le altre.
Vorrei condividere con voi un frammento di una delle mie poesie preferite, scritta da Maya Angelou, che racchiude la vera essenza della femminilità, della forza e della bellezza di essere donna:
It’s in the reach of my arms,
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I’m a woman, phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman, that’s me.

To All Women, on the Occasion of March 8th
Today, we celebrate ourselves—tireless women, the driving force behind everything. We are the ones who give life, who create, who nurture. We are strength, passion, and resilience.
But today, I also want to remind us of something important: the true power of women lies in community, not competition. Instead of letting jealousy or envy take over, let’s transform them into inspiration—a mirror to challenge ourselves, to grow, to improve, and to lift each other up. Because when one woman shines, she lights the way for others.
I’d love to share with you a fragment of one of my favorite poems by Maya Angelou, which beautifully captures the essence of femininity, strength, and the beauty of being a woman:
“It’s in the reach of my arms,
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I’m a woman, phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman, that’s me.”
