It was founded in 1978 by the brothers Ennio and Walter De Rigo as a small company of artisans working in the area of Belluno. In the following years, De Rigo SpA grew tremendously, becoming a leading Group in the glasses market. Continuous research, stylistic innovation combined with high quality standards, operational and distribution efficiency for the customer's increasingly comprehensive satisfaction, are the guidelines that have enabled the Group to grow. The Group is one of the most important players in the optical field thanks to retail chains General Optica (Spain), Mais Optica (Portugal), Opmar Optik (Turkey) and affiliate Boots Opticians (UK). Thanks to the extensive wholesale network managed by De Rigo Vision S.p.A., the Group’s products are distributed in approximately 80 countries, mainly in Europe, Asia and the Americas, through 24 companies and over 100 independent distributors.
