Air and water treatments Dr Yacht is conceived as a response to all the problems concerning the safety of air, water and surfaces that may occur on board.

The microclimate within the yacht is mainly due to
a high humidity level and the lack of air circulation, and therefore is a
highly favourable environment for the proliferation of fungi, molds and
bacteria that are in the pipelines and in those areas which less accessible to routine cleaning; an ideal habitat for breeding. Dr. yacht has developed a system of sampling, sanitation and
monitoring of the environment of the yacht in order to ensure maximum
security to the owner and the crew, who are actually living on
board. Through the co- operation of certified test laboratories , we
assess the health of the environment and we can assess if our response to the problem has been effective, both from a visual and from a microbiological point of view. One in 3 yachts shows traces of legionella bacteria or higher bacterial charges within the circuit of drinking water which, if not treated promptly, can cause serious problems both in terms of the health and the management of the boat. With the utmost discretion our engineers will bring back
all the results of the inspection within the hygiene parameters in order to
offer not merely a clean but also a sanitized environment. All this will be achieved in a few days.

⚙ Siamo orgogliosi di annunciare che l’azienda Iacomelli, in collaborazione con la famiglia Iacomelli, ha istituito una borsa di studio presso l’ISI Sismondi Pacinotti di Pescia, intitolata a Sergio e Ivonne Iacomelli, fondatori storici dell’azienda.

I sei gruppi di lavoro, suddivisi tra i percorsi di elettrico, manutentore veicoli a motore e meccanica, hanno presentato progetti consegnati in forma anonima a una giuria esterna per una valutazione imparziale e professionale.

La borsa di studio ha premiato complessivamente 14 studenti. Oltre a un premio economico, alcuni di loro avranno l’opportunità di svolgere stage presso la nostra azienda, con la prospettiva concreta di un futuro tirocinio.

Alla presentazione dei premi erano presenti Marcello e Moreno Iacomelli, Christopher Bizzio, Massimiliano Pignotti, Enrico Del Bino, e Natascia Zagni che ha coordinato l’intera iniziativa.

Un ringraziamento speciale va alla famiglia Iacomelli per aver reso possibile questa iniziativa e all’ISI Sismondi per la collaborazione e partecipazione a questo importante progetto.

Oggi siamo in cantiere a La Spezia per una consulenza per la predisposizione di portelli e accessi su una nuova costruzione. Dr Yacht infatti collabora con cantieri e armatori al fine di rendere gli impianti di ventilazione facilmente accessibili e consentire negli anni una manutenzione più accurata, veloce e sicuramente anche più economica.
