Wie bereits beim Start der Serie angekündigt, kann der Weg zu einer erfolgreichen Anpassung nicht auf ein solides Fundament verzichten.
Heute beginnen wir mit der ersten, grundlegenden Säule:

1️⃣ 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗸: 𝗗𝗶𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝘁 „𝗻𝘂𝗿“ 𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗸𝘁. 🎧

Oft als lästige Routineuntersuchung betrachtet, ist die tonaudiometrische Schwellenmessung der erste Schritt zu einer erfolgreichen Hörgeräteversorgung.
Es geht nicht nur darum, die minimale wahrgenommene Intensität zu bestimmen, sondern eine fundierte Grundlage für jeden weiteren Anpassungsschritt zu messen.

Die Tonaudiometrie ist der Grundpfeiler unserer klinischen und diagnostischen Tätigkeit und ermöglicht die Bestimmung der Hörschwelle.

Warum wir sie nicht als selbstverständlich ansehen sollten:

• Diagnostik: Sie ermöglicht es uns zwischen Schallleitungs-, sensorineuralen oder kombinierten Hörverlusten zu unterscheiden.

•Maskierung: Eine korrekte Anwendung der Maskierung ist essentiell für eine korrekte Diagnostik und verhindert grobe (Mess)Fehler.

• Grundlage für die Anpassung: eine ungenaue Audiometrie ist die Vorstufe einer erfolglosen Hörgeräteanpassung. Die vorberechneten Verstärkungswerte (ob NAL-NL2 oder DSL v5) sind nur “gut” wenn die Audiometriedaten korrekt sind.

Often considered a routine test, pure-tone threshold audiometry is the first predictive step toward hearing aid benefit. We are not just looking for the minimum perceived intensity; we are defining the scope of our intervention.

Pure-tone audiometric testing remains the cornerstone of our clinical and diagnostic activity, allowing us to define sensitivity thresholds.

Why we should never take it for granted:

• Diagnostic accuracy: it is the first dividing line between conductive, sensorineural, or mixed hearing loss.
• The value of masking: managing it correctly ensures clinical precision and prevents major errors.
• Foundation for fitting: inaccurate audiometry is the perfect recipe for a failed hearing aid fitting. Prescriptive gain (whether NAL-NL2 or DSL v5) is only as effective as the input data.

Spesso considerata un esame di routine, l'audiometria tonale liminare è il primo atto predittivo del beneficio protesico. Non stiamo solo cercando la minima intensità percepita; stiamo definendo il perimetro d'azione del nostro intervento.

L’esame audiometrico tonale rimane la pietra miliare della nostra attività clinica e diagnostica, che permette di definire la soglia di sensibilità.

Perché non dobbiamo darlo per scontato:

• Precisione diagnostica: è il primo spartiacque tra ipoacusie trasmissive, neurosensoriali o miste.
• Il valore del mascheramento: gestirlo correttamente è precisione clinica che evita errori grossolani.
• Fondamento per il fitting: un’audiometria imprecisa è la ricetta perfetta per un adattamento protesico fallimentare. Il guadagno prescrittivo (che sia NAL-NL2 o DSL v5) è efficace solo quanto lo sono i dati di input.
