"Oh, this is why he is so calm…"
That's what a dog owner said to me when I started working on her young rescue. 🐕
He'd been with her for about two months. Quiet. Still. A little too still for a young dog.
She had an explanation that made complete sense — his older "step brother" was a calm, settled dog, and she assumed the youngster was simply adapting to the household and following the older dog's lead. Perfectly reasonable.
But something didn't sit right with me.
When I started the session and tested his immune system, it was functioning at around 30%. That's it. That was the missing piece.
Because here's something many people don't realise: tiredness and low energy aren't always caused by what's happening right now. Often they're rooted in something much older — still stuck in the body, quietly disrupting the normal balance of organs and systems. 💫
In this dog's case, I found trapped emotions including Shock, Defensiveness, Grief, Nervousness, and Anxiety — alongside other energetic imbalances connected to his weakened immune system.
Two days after the session, this young dog transformed. More active. More curious. Sniffing everything on his walks, exploring his new home, finally showing up as the dog he truly was. 🐾
Same dog. Same family. Same older brother.
The only thing that changed was what was happening beneath the surface.
💡 The tip: When your pet seems low, withdrawn, or unusually quiet — don't assume it's personality or adaptation. It might be worth looking deeper. The real cause isn't always where we expect it to be.
