Today, we come together to raise awareness about one of the world’s deadliest infectious diseases: Tuberculosis (TB).
Despite being preventable and treatable, TB continues to impact millions of lives every year. It’s a reminder that access to timely diagnosis, proper treatment, and strong healthcare systems is more important than ever.
🧪 Medical Laboratory Professionals play a crucial role in detecting TB early, helping save lives and preventing its spread. Their work is at the heart of accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.

🌐 As we approach Global MedLab Week 2026 (April 20–26), we also celebrate the vital contribution of laboratory professionals worldwide. This global initiative highlights their impact on patient care and public health—especially in the fight against diseases like TB.
