Debunking common singing myths: (choose dubbed version)
Time to bust some common myths about **vocal training** and **exercise**! 🎤 A singer doesn't actually need all those things you might think to improve performance.
Singer! You don't need all these things!
Here's what you can stop worrying about:
* **You DON'T need a specific "singer's sport."** Over-powering your body or abs won't make you a better singer. Focus on **aerobic activity** for endurance, and avoid explosive efforts that strain the voice. And remember: **never scream or strain your vocal cords** during physical activity!
* **You DON'T need excessively long vocal warm-ups.** A quick warm-up is enough for a long concert. Save the long sessions for high-stakes, single-song performances like contests.
* **The "Perfect Posture" doesn't exist.** It's not about "standing up straight." What matters are the **muscle dynamics and movement patterns** that produce a correct, effortless sound, especially in the dynamic context of a stage performance.
* **DON'T overdo "belly breathing."** Diaphragmatic movement involves the whole rib cage, not just pushing your abdomen way out. Excessive focus on the front of the abdomen can lead to visceral issues (like affecting gastric reflux) and create tension in the larynx.
Focus on what truly works: smart practice, correct motor patterns, and balanced body activity!
