Finita la trasferta londinese presso l’Health Sciences University dove ho tenuto un corso a colleghi osteopati sulla possibilità dell’intervento manuale su pazienti con problematiche di voce. L’internazionalità porta nuove sfide e nuovi obiettivi. Il bilancio personale è più che positivo. In primis per essere stato accolto in questa struttura universitaria, cosa non scontata.
La presenza di colleghi da altri paesi è stato per me un momento davvero importante. Un grazie agli artisti che si sono prestati nelle valutazioni mostrando grande generosità. E’ stato un grande piacere stare con voi e sentire le vostre splendide voci. Grazie a tutti, spero che le belle energie che avete mosso vi portino il meglio.

Why an osteopath is needed in theater or during events with various types of performances (vocal, instrumental, but also dance and circus acts)?. Sometimes there is nothing to do, sometimes it’s super stressing, applying kinesiology tape, relaxing muscles, and reassuring – yes, reassuring – in moments of good but high-intensity stress. The calm is temporary and sometimes gives way to the need to react quickly. Just like a sound technician who seems to be enjoying the good music, while people think "lucky you, being there," but then suddenly needs to step in and solve a problem, keeping everything under control. Does it happen often? Not really, because the real work happens pre-stage, in the studio, not alone but as part of a team, working with other professionals, stepping aside when needed, and stepping in when it's time. Is it stressful? Yes, very.Easy? Never, especially when it comes to managing human and professional relationships. Yet, all this is what I’ve been slowly building over the years. But for now, let’s enjoy the calm before the show... and then the party begins!
