Psychodermatology, or psychocutaneous medicine, focuses on the boundary between psychiatry and dermatology.

APMNA (Association of Psychoneurocutaneous Medicine of North America) is the only association involved in the awareness of Psychocutaneous medicine in North America. APMNA is an association of dermatologists, psychiatrists, psychologists and allied health professionals dedicated to promoting the awareness of psyche and skin interaction and the role of psychoneuroimmunology in skin diseases. The objectives of the association are:

To promote the awareness of psychocutaneous medicine. To hold meetings, seminars and symposia on psychodermatology. To facilitate the introduction of psychodermatology curriculum into dermatology and psychiatry residency programs. To provide support to patients and parents on psychodermatological disorders.

Very much honored to be invited to present a talk on Psychotrichology in 4th Pan African Congress of Dermatology being held in Tunis, the capital of Tunisia.
