When you happen to own the land that you hold your retreats or festival on, then there’s a lot of tending to the land involved. It’s hard work, and I do have help, but laying hands and burying my sweat on it is part of our connection. 🍃

Two years ago, I held my first retreat with actual participants

(Three years ago I had launched one, but nobody signed up, so I did a “dry run” to trial it. Turned out to be a very useful experience.)

Last year, I ran the second edition of the retreat. And I ran the first edition of a Women’s Festival the week after.

(I may sound casual about it, but I was anything but. I only leaned into it because in February 2024 I realised I wasn’t launching this dream of mine because I was living in the illusion that I wasn’t ready yet. My coach asked me: “When do you think you’ll feel ready? Like, what needs to happen for you to feel ready?” That’s when I realised I never would. So I did it while feeling extremely vulnerable and unprepared. It was a success.)

This year, I ran the third edition of my retreat, am about to run the second edition of the festival, and am launching the first edition of my business momentum mastery program. The kickoff is two days before the festival starts.

If I look at this as a pattern, it kind of makes me wonder what’s going to happen next year!?!? 🧐🤪

When your intuitive work brings it all together: journaling under my favourite tree in paradise (that on top of it all I happen to own), my favourite dog, having coached three dream clients in the morning, done some admin on a group program that I’m co-leading, and spent a couple of hours at the beach with a thrilling book (the flight by Julie Clark). Later I’ll finish cleaning the summer kitchen for the guests of my upcoming retreat and cook dinner for my sister who’s arriving tonight and whom I can’t wait to see.

I love playing cards. I was an only child for 8 years. My card playing grandmother lovingly taught me to play solitaire. I’ve always loved it.

Today, as I was playing a game, I noticed that towards the end of the deck, the card situation seemed totally not coming into order and I was mechanically “just finishing the deck to finish the game”.

I realised I’d automatically assumed, from what I was seeing on the table, that I would not win this game. So, I started wondering: what if I simply chose to win it?

What followed was a seemingly miraculous appearance of possible moves, that one by one led to perfect order and … a win.

A great reminder to not judge our possibilities by making assumptions and giving meaning to our current reality.
