The key word here is ETHYLENE. Tomatoes and a great fruit (BANANAS) produce this chemical naturally. IF YOUR FULLY GROWN TOMATOES are on the vine and won’t ripen, pick them, place them in a brown bag, put the bag away from sunlight, AND ADD A BANANA. Your wonderful tomatoes will ripen within a week! Maybe 3 days.. Maybe 10 at extreme!

An early Mother’s Day cost me my Pienolos. It dipped into the high 30’s after MDay and I lost them and the basil too! We’re using MAY 15th as the first day to go into the ground from now on!
