We are the revolution. Fierce, proud, kind, individual revolutions part of a huge tumultuous rebellion.

The ones that blur lines and borders, that break centuries old cages, that unsettle social order and defy the forces that try to preserve it.

The ones that build new identities, that adapt, that shape social constructions to fit human beings, and not the opposite.

We are the ones that leap into unknown ways of being humans, inspire, contaminate, dismantle and change, constantly.

We are the ones that lead the way, the ones that expose, the ones that speak their truth, and the ones that can’t.

Us as a generation we are carrying on the revolution that the ones before us started. We owe them - and their struggle - the pride and the dignity they instilled in us. We will make tons of mistakes, like the past generations did. We are also going to not live to see what we are fighting for.

Despite that, the world is already a different world, because of us all. Q***r, trans, asexual, non-heterosexual, intersexual, non monogamous people, women, men already are different, and have different lives, because of us.

We are the relentless ongoing revolution.
And we are going to keep our head up.

One of those untranslatable Italian expressions that I came to love is
“ fino a qui tutto bene “

(To me) it means something like
“ no idea of what will come next,
I’ve got this far and it feels good.
I think I’m gonna savor it”

Something like that
Una di quelle espressioni italiane intraducibili che sono arrivata ad amare ultimamente è proprio “ fino a qui tutto bene “.

(Per me) si può tradurre come
“Non ho idea di cosa verrà poi
Sono arrivatǝ fin qui ed è bello.
Penso che me lo gusterò”

Tag someone who needs to hear this 🔥
If you’d call someone inadequate, uninteresting, unworthy of love, a sh*t, you would clearly be an a**hole saying some mean and random things.
So what makes you think it’s fine to say horrible things to yourself?
We are very concerned when it comes to self-inflicted physical pain, but when we hurt ourselves psychologically we have a hard time even to acknowledge it.
Because we are accustomed to, it’s socially acceptable, and - above all - we think we deserve it.
We could never treat the people we love as viciously as we treat ourselves.
And still we say and do the most brutal, unfair and cuttroath things to our own selves, things that - 99,9% of the times - we don’t deserve.
Being kind to someone has nothing to do with them being awsome. If you are unfairly mean you are an a**hole.
Stop torturing yourself.
You deserve kindness.

- I want to believe that the past is done with is the moment we are done with it -

After a year the pain faded, the tears dried, and the old me, that I wanted so bad to bring back, was long gone.

My eyes - and my heart - were looking at a completely different world.
I was so busy gluing together the pieces of me that shattered and crumbled, and getting back the ones that I've lost, I almost didn't notice that I’ve been growing a new soul.
I was so busy that I also grew really long hair.
I thought that sadness grows long and heavy too, it’s just that you don’t see it.

At a certain point it comes the time to cut it off.

My first mural(s) 🎉 — pt 1
Here's my very first work — the project was to paint two big (and long) outdoor murals (25 sq mt / 300 sq ft), one next to the other
I had a really great time — and I have been more than lucky with the location
— Valmadrera is a small town in nothern Italy, located between the mountains and the shores of the Lake of Lecco 🏔🏖 gorgeous
The municipality wanted to give new life to their Sport Centre Rio Torto and the huge park that sorrounds it.
It wasn't that easy prepping and repairing the walls — this one was pretty damaged and crumbling — but I'm so happy that I did 💪 Thanks
