ITA: Il Gruppo Otologico รจ stato fondato nel 1983 a Piacenza dal dottor Mario Sanna, chirurgo conosciuto e stimato a livello internazionale, come istituto specializzato per la diagnosi e la cura delle malattie dell'orecchio, della base cranica, dei seni paranasali e del distretto testa-collo. Il Gruppo Otologico รจ formato da un team di medici e personale di supporto altamente specializzati il cui obiettivo รจ l'eccellenza nella cura del paziente. Il successo di questo centro lo ha portato ad essere riconosciuto come uno degli istituti piรน importanti al mondo per la chirurgia Otologica e della base cranica ricevendo pazienti da tutti i Paesi. Il centro รจ anche riconosciuto a livello internazionale per la formazione chirurgica in ambito otologico, otoneurochirurgico e della base del cranio.
ENG: The Gruppo Otologico was established in 1983 as a specialist institute at Piacenza, Italy for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of ear, skull base, paranasal sinuses and the head & neck. Gruppo Otologico is a team of highly specialized doctors and support staff whose strive to achieve excellence in patient care with compassion. The success of this center has lead this to be recognized as one of the premier institutes in the world for Otology & Skull Base Surgery receiving patients from across the world. The institute is also an internationally recognized center for training in advanced Otology & Skull Base Surgery.
Over the last 30 years, this institute has attracted over 23,000 patients from over 45 countries across the globe. Gruppo Otologico is the nodal base of the Italian Otological and Neurotological Association (AINOT). This is one of the centers recognized by the European Association of Otology & Neurotology (EAONO) for clinical training in Europe. The Gruppo Otologico has published 15 book titles and 375 scientific articles. 85 fellows and over 500 observers from 35 countries have trained in this institute thus far.
