🎂🦷 Smily turns 18.

On February 14, we celebrated an important milestone: the 18th anniversary of the inauguration of the very first Saratoga Smily simulator, installed in 2008 at the Dental School at the 🇮🇹🎓

What began as a vision for a more ergonomic, intuitive, and forward-thinking simulation unit has grown into a global educational solution — supporting universities and training institutions around the world.

In this post, we’re sharing photos from that very first installation, a moment that marked the beginning of Smily’s journey.

A heartfelt thank you to the Dental School in Turin, Prof. , Prof. , and Prof. for their trust, collaboration, and shared commitment to advancing dental education.

Eighteen years later, Smily continues to evolve — integrating digital platforms, AI-driven systems, and smart evaluation tools — while staying true to its original purpose: building better clinicians from day one.

🗽 Saratoga at the Greater New York Dental Meeting!

Our very own Patrizio Bortolus and Matteo Bazzocchi spent the past few days at GNYDM, meeting with long-time partners, reconnecting with friends, and building new relationships across the U.S. dental community.

Events like this remind us how valuable real conversations are — the exchange of ideas, the shared vision for the future, and the opportunity to collaborate with people who truly care about advancing dental education and clinical environments.

This year, we also had the chance to share how Saratoga is integrating AI, blockchain, artificial vision, digital twin technology, and robotics into our latest developments — innovations designed to redefine what’s possible in dental simulation and workspace design.
