مشكلة تراجع الفك السفلي (retrognathia):
(formalmente conosciuto come retrognazia mandibolare)
è una condizione in cui la mascella inferiore è impostato più indietro rispetto alla mascella superiore, facendolo apparire come una persona ha un grave overbite.
تراجع الفك السفلي يُقصد به صغر حجم الفك السفلي عن الفك العلوي،
هناك أعراض تؤكد الإصابة بتراجع الفك السفلي منها الشكل الخارجي للمريض حيث يكون وجهه أشبه بالطائر ويسمى طبيًا «وجه الطائر»،
