There is no such thing as asking for too much. Core needs are not negotiable. Feeling emotionally safe, connected, respected, and considered matters this isn’t “your partner should give you everything you want, 24/7.” It’s that you’re allowed to ask, and you’re allowed to have needs, without shame. Your partner is always allowed to say yes, no, or maybe. The healthy part is being able to talk about it without contempt, guilt, or minimization.
