Doctors should be cautioned against this as well!

Yup, there is a lot more to fertility than the mainstream medical world knows or understands. I've worked with the number of clients who were panicked because their doctor told them their ovarian reserve was low and they had very little chance of conceiving on their own. Not true!

In the last few weeks I've had a number of clients approach their due date, and then stay pregnant for another week or two before giving birth. As a midwife I've see how this can turn into a very stressful time for the mother and expecting family, and as a massage therapist I can feel those stresses in their bodies. It's a race to deliver, and in most cases I've seen, so unnecessary.
