The World Kidney Day is here again. This time Chelsea Renal Health in collaboration with the Chief Whip of Imo State(Chief Ugonna Ozuruigbo) is organising the world kidney day at Umuozu community in Nwangele LGA of Imo state on the 8th of March 2012. We (Chelsea Renal Health) hereby invite the general public for a free health screening on Hypertension and Diabetes on that day, as we mark the world kidney day. Remember the Theme is ''Donate and Receive kidney'' unfortunatetly we are living in a country where 80% lack knowledge of the causes and prevetion of kidney diseases not to talk of organ donation. Chelsearenal health is therefore using the world kidney day to ask the Nigerian government to establish dialysis center and organ transplant unit in Nigeria. We have spent a lot in India and other Asian countries for organ transplant ,this is the time for us to rethink and help our less privillaged people suffering from kidney diseases to have a sence of belonging. However prevention is better than cure , always visit your doctor for advice, control your blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, weight, watch what you eat, regular exercise etc

Today 2nd of January, 2012 Chelsearenal Health officially opened their center for hypertension and diabetic prevetion in Amaigbo Nwagele LGA, Imo state. The commissioner for health was represented by the Chairman Nwangele LGA Barister Etukemka. With this Chelsearenal Health is calling on the general public to seize this opportunity to go for their free medical screening and drugs. The date (March 8th) of this year's world kidney day screening was offically announced by the local government chairman, and the venue will be Abajah health center Nwangele LGA Imo State.
