⚜️ Angiodroid Workshop in Madinah, Saudi Arabia ⚜️

An inspiring took place in Madinah, gathering radiographers, doctors, and students eager to explore the potential of .

The event, organized in collaboration with our partner Tamer Group, featured Mr. Raed Saad Alahmadi, Senior IR Technician and Head of Technologists in IR at King Fahad Hospital – Madinah Health Cluster, who presented two clinical case studies carried out at his hospital — one and one — highlighting the safety and effectiveness of technology in daily practice.

The session also featured the valuable contribution of Wessam Nabil, our Clinical Specialist MENA, who guided participants through the clinical principles and practical applications of CO₂ angiography, fostering an engaging and interactive learning experience.

🎙 Interview with Prof. med. Sabine Steiner – Universitätsklinikum AKH Wien

In this interview, Prof. med. Sabine Steiner, Principal Investigator for the groundbreaking study, discusses the urgent clinical question driving the trial.

The multi-center Phase III study is challenging standard practice by addressing the uncertainty surrounding Contrast-Associated Acute Kidney Injury (CA-AKI) following peripheral interventions.

The design is innovative: patients are randomised to compare standard iodinated contrast media against the contrast-free approach of CO₂ Angiography. The primary goal is to track Major Adverse Kidney Events at 90 days (MACE-90).
