Experience is sooo much in our job… but… it depends on what we are experiencing… are we fully present? Fully ready to learn from every lesson we teach and every workout we take? We accumulate and develop ability to see , ability to know what to do if we are ready to stay in moment, make mistakes, learn from them, remember where we come from and never take for granted where we wanna go… ❤️

When we work with people’s bodies, with their health, their emotions, their center … we know we have to take the responsibility of taking risks ; it doesn’t mean to be superficial… At the opposite… it means to be smart and mature enough to understand that we do a job that has risks in it; that we cannot be in the hurry and illusion to have all the answer and be able to control everything before the work starts; we have to study, practice, keep studying and keep practicing so to be able to feel and understand how to handle the situations step by step and to build up the lesson according to what happens and what we see in the moment— the control is not about forcing the bodies to do what we think is right — is to have the tools to understand what the body needs step by step… taking risks and responsibility with respect , love and trust ❤️

Passion—- definition: something you enjoy and you will never get tired of doing it; follow your passion and success will come.
Never take for granted how important it is to respect , nurture , and cherish our PASSION for what we do; for the work; for the system ; for people ; for sharing what we do.

I always feel soooo grateful and blessed that my body and deep passion is my job❤️

And remember, the only way to nurture and renovate our passion is… to practice and stay in every emotion… the more and the less comfortable ones… they all are the fire that ignites our passion and heart ❤️

We learned sooooooo many things in the week of MODULE 2 of Mat and Reformer … one of them… that we don’t do an activity that is Mind and body and spirit… because we cannot separate them!

This wonderful group of teachers have been present with ALL of themselves… working hard, light, smart, with passion, respect , intelligence, presence , integrity… sooooo much heart and courage !!!

Grazie beautiful, deep, smart people!
I couldn’t be prouder and more grateful for everything we did so far and for everything will come next ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

thank you sooooooooo much to this special and wonderful group of beginners and re-beginners of this MODULE 1 of MAT AND REFORMER!

some of them are new to the path, some of them are in the journey for a long time and are giving themselves the opportunity of a new beginning… all of us worked together to discover, explore , work, feel, understand, don’t understand, get confused, get clear , get stronger… definitely to get more ourselves and know the work better!!!!

The work allows us to understand and comprehend what we feel and the world around us from a completely different point of view and through a completely different process… it’s not just about intellectualizing it and analyzing it; it’s about a deep understanding, a deep release of events, blocks, ideas… opening to new and infinite possibilities and to the ability to feel and see through the whole body… through the whole you!

Well… the experience of “THE MAGIC OF THE SCIENCE” has been beyond every imagination!

The unique .endocrinologo MAURIZIO GASPERI brought his knowledge, wisdom and heart and , as usual, made deep and important topics accessible and so intelligent and easy to connect to our work and life;

ANGELO GEMIGNANI , an incredible, worldwide renowned neuroscientist with an indescribable talent for his work and for life… brought us to discover new worlds and possibilities of our brains and bodies and made it fascinating, entertaining, magic, logic, powerful and humbling.
I had the honor and fun (as usual) to connect all the topics that these two wonderful scientists brought up to our work, to make clearer why we work the way we work!

And I am particularly happy that we could connect all of this to the magical and deep and ancestral work that does with the sounds … grazie Amore.

A huge thanks to ROBERTO BEANI and his incredible work of director.

There an idea of the work that is just about correcting and fixing the structure of the body… then… there is the incredible and deep path of healing the body and the whole person… through a deep, endless, magical and very logic and intelligent work, made of feelings , intuition, instinct, observation , knowledge, understanding through the body… made in a safe space when the teacher and the person together can explore , discover , build up, reveal and release all the needs of the body to heal and function at its best ❤️

More I work, more I teach , more I practice, more I share… more and more it’s so evident how we cannot pass this work if we don’t keep doing it for ourselves ; this work is an incredible tool to evolve, to keep finding aspect of ourselves that we cannot know until we meet them. To know the work is not the final goal … it’s the beginning and it’s a never ending process and it’s the tool to keep exploring, expanding, evolving, breath, live and love ❤️

Our Story

Gloria, laureata in scienze motorie, segue il metodo Pilates dal 1999. Ha seguito corsi prima in Olanda e poi negli Stati Uniti. Ha conseguito la Comprehensive Certification con Clare Dunphy presso il Pilates Progressive Bodyworks di Boston. Dal 2012 collabora col Vintage Pilates di Los Angeles, di proprietà di Sandy Shimoda e diretto da Jay Grimes, allievo diretto di Joseph e Clara Pilates, e qui ha conseguito il Master “The Work” nel 2013. Nel 2015 è stata selezionata da Jay Grimes per il “Teaching the Work”, un Master Program di un anno, per insegnanti. Gloria viene spesso invitata presso altri Studi Pilates in Italia e all’estero, come theacher in occasione di workshop o convention.
