Il buio avvolge il Teatro alle Tese e, come per incanto, si accende la luce di un gigante della musica: Franco Battiato.
In occasione degli 80 anni dalla nascita, il 17 e 18 novembre la ha celebrato il Maestro con un omaggio speciale, , realizzato in collaborazione con SZ Sugar: due serate che hanno fatto vibrare il cuore dell’Arsenale al ritmo della sua poetica unica e sperimentale. Accompagnata da musicisti d’eccezione, la voce di Malika Ayane ha abbracciato il pubblico, conducendolo lungo le innumerevoli strade percorse dal grande compositore – rielaborate con maestria da Leonardo Marino e Michele Tadini – in “un incedere felice dell’amore”.

The team scanned hundreds of ancient monuments threatened by conflict, climate, and neglect, training an AI model to capture their essence. The AI generates confabulations – historical fragments of architecture that never existed – carved in stone, remaining true to tradition yet projected into the future. Mediated by machine intelligence, these artefacts invite visitors to reconsider the role of memory in architecture and the challenge of preserving heritage. Architecture and memory exist in constant dialogue. Architecture embodies collective intelligence, shaping cultural legacies and identity. AI, as an extension of collective thought, allows us to reinterpret traditional forms and conceive new possibilities. It bridges time, using ancient monuments as a foundation for new memories.

Five decades after its first Italian performance at the Biennale Teatro and Biennale Musica directed by Luca Ronconi in 1976, on 6 and 7 December, "Coro", the great composer's masterpiece, returns to the Teatro La Fenice in a stunning new production featuring original choreography by Wayne McGregor. On stage, the dancers will join the performers of the Company Wayne McGregor, forty voices from the Coro della Cattedrale di Siena "Guido Chigi Saracini", and forty members of the Orchestra del Teatro La Fenice, creating a deeply moving tribute to a timeless genius whose work continues to astonish us.

Cinque decenni dopo la prima esecuzione italiana alla Biennale Teatro e Musica diretta da Luca Ronconi nel 1976, il 6 e 7 dicembre "Coro", il capolavoro del grande compositore, torna al Teatro La Fenice in una nuova e straordinaria veste scenica, con le coreografie originali di Wayne McGregor (Studio Wayne McGregor).
