( and not on the dance floor) . The touristic season has begun here in and with the big crowds I have to face also the rising request of and assistance on and . As is the most sold brand worldwide, as expected, I have requests to fix such glasses several times a day. I took the decision of not offering anymore service to clients of such brand. It is really hard and saddening for me to deny something I could easily do (and I have always done , free of charge on top of that) especially because I’ve been trained to be very customer oriented. Same I do with readers bought at the pharmacy or gas station. Even if I’d decide to charge, it would mean I am supporting this slice of the market, this would be deeply disrespectful to all the work I have done with independent eyewear brands over the last 15 years and the awareness created with an international clientele who appreciate design and choices of personality instead of homogenisation of the mainstream product. Nothing wrong in buying your favourite brand , but as there is a sigle-brand store I think they’re the best source where to get screws tightened and the aviator put back in shape.
