Feeling the Blue Monday dip? 💙Let’s treat today like a gentle reset.🩵

At Prana Health & Health, I like keep it simple: supporting your nervous system, reconnecting with your body, and coming back to the present. You don’t need a big overhaul—just a few intentional choices. 🫶🏼

Self-care ideas for today:

🌿Connect with nature: take a 10–20 minute walk outside (even if it’s grey). Notice 5 things you can see, 4 you can touch, 3 you can hear, 2 things you can smell and 1 think you can taste.
😌Meditation (3 minutes counts): sit comfortably, soften your jaw, and follow your breath. When your mind wanders, kindly return.
🧘‍♀️Gentle yoga: slow stretches, forward folds, and a few minutes of legs up the wall to calm the body.
💆‍♀️Massage/self-massage: warm a little oil or moisturiser and massage your shoulders, neck, hands, and feet to invite relaxation.
💕Reach out: message and reach out to a friend that one you haven’t spoken to in a while - connection is powerful medicine.
🌳Nature + Breath — step outside and do 6 slow breaths:
Inhale for 4, exhale for 6. Repeat 6 times.
Longer exhales signal safety to the body and help ease stress, and calms the nervous system

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all my wonderful clients for the very thoughtful Christmas presents — I’ve been truly spoilt and feel so lucky. They’re now all nestled under the Prana Christmas tree, ready to be opened on Christmas morning.

A gentle invitation to slow down, listen in, and honour what your body and mind truly need.

When we take our lead from nature, we remember that nothing blooms all year round. There are seasons for growth, and there are seasons for rest.

Today, give yourself permission to:
😌Move more slowly
🧘‍♀️ Breathe a little deeper
☺️Turn inward with kindness, not criticism

Looking for a calming, bonding experience with your little one? Come along to my gentle Mum and Baby Yoga class every week from 10:00-11:00 AM at the JADC Clubhouse in St Saviour.

This special class is designed to nurture your postpartum body, helping you gently stretch, rebuild core strength, and reconnect with your body — all while incorporating your little one into each pose. It’s a wonderful way to relax, bond, and meet other mums on the same journey!
