As a mother myself, I know that being a mum is one of the most beautiful, rewarding, exhausting, and emotional journeys there is. It’s filled with love so deep it’s hard to put into words, and with so many quiet moments of giving, nurturing, worrying, comforting, and holding everything together.

Today, I want to send love to all the amazing mummies — to those soaking up precious cuddles, to those doing their very best through the hard days, to those carrying so much behind their smile, and to those whose love shines through in everything they do.🩷🙏🩷

🧘‍♀️At Prana Healing & Wellbeing, I love teaching restorative yoga because it offers something so many of us deeply need — the chance to slow down, soften, ground, rest, and surrender into relaxation. ♥️💆‍♀️🤗

When I was younger, I practised a much more dynamic flow style of yoga. But as I’ve grown older and developed as a yoga teacher, I’ve come to truly love both practising and teaching restorative yoga for the deep connection it brings. It allows us to pause, listen, and simply be.

Restorative yoga gently supports the body’s natural ability to heal and helps calm the nervous system, which is so vital for our overall wellbeing. In a world that often encourages constant busyness, restorative yoga reminds us that rest is not a luxury — it is essential.🫶🏼

I strongly believe that everyone can benefit from restorative yoga, and that it is a practice accessible to all.

If you’d like to join me, my weekly class takes place every Wednesday morning from 10:00–11:30am at the JADC Clubhouse in St Saviour.

As humans, we’re wired for connection—and touch is one of the most powerful ways we communicate safety, comfort, and care. In a world that moves fast and asks so much of us, it’s easy for the body to hold onto stress, bracing through the shoulders, jaw, hips, and back without us even realising.

🤗Touch reminds the body it doesn’t have to stay in survival mode.

💆‍♀️Massage can support the body’s natural healing by encouraging circulation, easing muscular tension, and helping you return to a calmer baseline.

Feeling the Blue Monday dip? 💙Let’s treat today like a gentle reset.🩵

At Prana Health & Health, I like keep it simple: supporting your nervous system, reconnecting with your body, and coming back to the present. You don’t need a big overhaul—just a few intentional choices. 🫶🏼

Self-care ideas for today:

🌿Connect with nature: take a 10–20 minute walk outside (even if it’s grey). Notice 5 things you can see, 4 you can touch, 3 you can hear, 2 things you can smell and 1 think you can taste.
😌Meditation (3 minutes counts): sit comfortably, soften your jaw, and follow your breath. When your mind wanders, kindly return.
🧘‍♀️Gentle yoga: slow stretches, forward folds, and a few minutes of legs up the wall to calm the body.
💆‍♀️Massage/self-massage: warm a little oil or moisturiser and massage your shoulders, neck, hands, and feet to invite relaxation.
💕Reach out: message and reach out to a friend that one you haven’t spoken to in a while - connection is powerful medicine.
🌳Nature + Breath — step outside and do 6 slow breaths:
Inhale for 4, exhale for 6. Repeat 6 times.
Longer exhales signal safety to the body and help ease stress, and calms the nervous system
