Parenting Support Service Jersey

Parenting Support Service Jersey Being a parent is one of the most important jobs there is - it is also one of the hardest. Our service supports parents to enjoy everyday family life.

We offer a focus for parents that we hope will benefit them in their own circumstances. We do this through the provision of one to one support and a comprehensive set of programs which have been designed to increase the understanding of the parent about their child`s development and allows the parent to learn to value themselves as individuals and as their chiild`s first and most important educator.

Couldn’t love this more ❤️

How often do you find yourself in a power struggle with your child?

Picking your battles and giving them control (in ways that are acceptable for you) is not permissive parenting. It’s not ‘letting them walk all over you’.

It’s showing them the same respect, responsibilities, and choice that you’d expect yourself.

So many issues can be ‘fixed’ by rethinking this idea that we need to be in control of / have power over our children.

Marc’s walk for a very worthy cause...proceeds towards a new specialist unit for children and young people with life threatening conditions.

I would be grateful if you could share this flyer to publicise the walk with as many friends and family as I have limited means to advertise.I never like using any of the money raised to advertise. Also if you place it on the notice board at your place of work that would be great too. Iit's all for a very worthy cause i.e help fund the new Children's Hospice at Jersey Hospice Care. Thank you very much ! Marc's dad. please register here https://www.jerseyhospicecare.com/event/marcs-walk/
