Mrs Ruff Stuff Body Scrub one of my inspirations, what a woman, have a read and get to know the creator of our amazing Scrubs, oils and bath products.

It’s not often I big myself up but seems to be the perfect day to tell you a bit about me. I’m Toni, creator of Ruff Stuff Bodycare. I’m 46, mum of 2 now ‘twenty-something’ kids, I spent most of that time being a single mum until I met Paul 10 yrs ago and decided to give this marriage thing another go, he’s doing ok so far! 😏😂
I’ve been in the beauty industry since starting beauty college in 1998 (pretty sure dinosaurs still roamed the earth then) and didn’t love most aspects of the course, until I realised waxing was my thing!
I was told by my tutors that no one would ever make a living by only offering one treatment….i begged to differ, and years later set off on my intimate waxing journey, and have never looked back.
I helped build a hugely successful business for someone else, learnt a lot, honed my skills then decided to take the plunge to do it solo, as-well as teach it. It was the best decision I ever made.
During that time I was becoming increasingly frustrated with the lack of effective aftercare to tackle ingrown hairs etc and after almost loosing one of my favourite client because of it, I decided to take matters into my own hands and make my own scrub!
After a year or so of the aforementioned client being my Guinea pig, Ruff Stuff was born! 🎉 it was only ever meant to be one Scrub type just for my clients, never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be producing the range we have now and selling worldwide! (Mostly thanks to the husband and his vision)
But along the way, I have had the pleasure of being supported, encouraged and inspired by some amazing women and I will never tire of making sure I am the loudest cheerleader for all women.
We’ve been in competition with each other for too long, it’s time to turn the tides and remember that we were once the strongest community, a village, a coven, a group that could do amazing things until we were brainwashed into believing otherwise. 💪 so let’s make celebrating woman a daily thing, not a ‘once a year’ thing 🥰
Here’s to all the mums, business owners, cold water dippers, carers, volunteers, menopausal messes, wives, partners, career women and everything in between 🥳
