✨ How to Do a Pelvic Floor Contraction (the right way) ✨

Your pelvic floor is more than just a “squeeze.” It’s about connection, breath, and awareness. Here’s how to engage it:

1️⃣ Get your breath right
Start by breathing into your rib cage and belly - not just your chest. On your inhale, feel your belly expand. On the exhale, gently feel it draw back in.

2️⃣ Find the pelvic floor
Think of the muscles you’d use to stop urine mid-flow or hold in wind. That’s your pelvic floor! Try gently activating that area without clenching your glutes or thighs.

3️⃣ Connect to your breath
Inhale: soften and release the pelvic floor.
Exhale: gently lift and engage it - like drawing the muscles up and in.

4️⃣ Use visualization 🧠
Try these cues:
🌸 “Close the petals of a flower and pick up the bud”

✨ Small, subtle, and smart. Practice daily for deeper core strength, control, and connection.

Constantly tightening can create tension and discomfort. Instead, focus on whole-body movement, proper breathing, and balance.

Strength comes from coordination, relaxation, and understanding when your pelvic floor naturally engages.
