The 'Right Now' grounding technique
Need a little help slowing down this festive holidays? Try this:
👀 Notice 5 things you can see right now e.g. 5 colours (or 5 blue things), 5 objects etc.
👂 Notice 4 things you can hear right now e.g birds, the rain on the window or the hum of the fridge).
👉 Notice 3 things you can touch right now e.g the softness of a cushion or texture of a glass or mug.
☕ Notice 2 things you can smell or taste right now e.g a cup of tea or the scent of a candle.
🧘♂️Take 1 deep slow breath. Then, simply focus on your breathing. In this moment
