We're supporting the Mental Health Foundation on Mental Health Awareness Week by sharing information and resources.

The theme this year is 'action'.

Across the week we will share tip-sheets that are designed to give you the tools to take action to support your own mental health. From quick-wins and simple actions to long-term lifestyle shifts, try a few to find what works best for you. All the tips are reviewed by experts and backed by evidence.

⏰Join us for a stroll around the beautiful gardens at Howard Davies Park, followed by coffee at the park's cafe - a chance to connect with fellow carers.

👉How To Self Refer for Counselling | No cost involved

💻You're able to self-refer to our counselling service by completing a short form (follow the link). We then arrange an initial assessment for you with one of our counselling team. (You can select on the form how you would prefer for us to contact you) 📞

⏰ Following this, if we are an appropriate service to support you, you can meet with your counsellor on an individual basis, usually at weekly intervals for up to 16 sessions.

📍 If an alternative service will be best placed to support you, your counsellor will discuss these options with you. We're able to refer to several other services. You can also use our informal service at any time by calling or visiting us Mon-Sat 10am-8pm.
