Meet this amazing family 💛

For Tasha, daily life used to be shaped by debilitating pain. Through regular chiropractic care, she’s been able to move through pregnancy, marathon training, HYROX, and everyday life feeling stronger, more comfortable, and supported — focusing on what matters, not the pain.

Phil is a tradesman — long days, heavy lifting, constant movement, and picking up his son. He used to rely on painkillers just to get through the day. Now, with chiropractic care, he’s off the painkillers, moving better, and feeling confident in his body again.

Let’s talk SPINES.

Your spine is made up of 33 vertebrae stacked on top of each other—kind of like a Jenga tower, but way more important.

These vertebrae are grouped into five regions, each with its own vibe and job:
• Cervical (neck): 7 vertebrae
Super mobile—think head turning, nodding, looking around.
• Thoracic (mid-back): 12 vertebrae
Attached to your ribs—more stable, but still moves.
• Lumbar (low back): 5 vertebrae
Strong and weight-bearing—this part works hard.
• Sacrum: 5 fused vertebrae
These form the back of your pelvis.
• Coccyx (tailbone): 4 fused vertebrae
Tiny but mighty. Kind of like a punctuation mark at the end of your spine.

Your spine protects your spinal cord, supports your body, and allows for movement—it’s a literal powerhouse.

Look after it, and it’ll look after you!

We had a BOY! Seeing his credentials when he arrived was the best surprise ever! And yep most of you guessed right!

Bob Raymond Rock Berresford
(AKA Bobby Berresford)

Born 23/01/25, a week early, weighing a small but mighty 6lb 12oz.

Labour didn’t exactly go to plan, turns out squatting reps on the bed to Fred Again was the vibe instead of the peaceful “breathe him out” approach! After five days of labour, I didn’t get my home birth, but I did deliver vaginally in hospital. In hindsight, I think my body was resisting because I didn’t want to birth at home unsupported or in hospital, where I didn’t want to be. But once we let go of the plan, having professional support made all the difference.

A huge shoutout to Carrie, the midwife with the most infectious energy, she was exactly who I needed. And to Will, who was my absolute rock, coaching me through every moment. Having that kind of support is something I will forever be grateful for.

This first week has been a whirlwind, sleep is a challenge, but breastfeeding is going well, and we’re embracing the hibernation life as a family of three. In Ethiopian culture, it’s typical to stay home for 40 days, focusing on rest and recovery with a series of remedies to regain strength. I plan on sharing more about these once I get a moment! So if I’m not fully responding to messages it’s because I’m trying to be super present.

I’ve been reflecting on the birth and already thinking about how I’d do things differently next time… but for now, just soaking in this wild, beautiful, exhausting ride. ❤️
