As the weather begins to warm up, it’s essential to remember the importance of staying hydrated. Dehydration can happen quickly, especially in older adults, young children, and those with health conditions. Here are a few simple reminders:

☀️ Drink water regularly throughout the day, even if you don’t feel thirsty.
🍉 Incorporate hydrating foods like fruits and vegetables into your meals.
🌿 Offer a helping hand - check in on elderly neighbours or loved ones who may struggle with hydration.
💦 Keep extra water bottles handy if you’re out and about in the heat.

Are you passionate about providing outstanding care that enables people to remain in their own homes? Would you like to relocate to a beautiful island with a close-knit community? We are looking for a talented and experienced Registered Care Manager to lead our team of 60+ home and community carers in Jersey.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
• Ideally RQF/NVQ Level 5
• Proven track record in management role
• Excellent communication and IT skills
• Professional standards of excellence
• Able to work independently
• Clean driving licence and own transport

CONTRACT & BENEFITS
• Package circa £60,000-£68,000 per annum
• Housing licence, relocation to Jersey and accommodation support
• Opportunities to earn performance bonuses
• Generous paid leave plus all statutory Bank Holidays
• Fuel and parking allowance
• WPA cashback scheme plus Vitality private health insurance
• Discretionary sick pay and statutory parental leave

- Join Cambrette Care in Supporting Dementia Action Week -

From May 19th to 25th, 2025, we stand together to raise awareness about dementia and the importance of timely diagnosis. Early detection is crucial, yet 1 in 3 people with dementia do not have a diagnosis. In Jersey, approximately 1,600 individuals are living with dementia, a number expected to rise to over 3,750 by 2050.

This Dementia Action Week, we encourage everyone to:

1. Learn the signs of dementia to support early diagnosis.
2. Engage in conversations about dementia to reduce stigma.
3. Support local initiatives dedicated to dementia care.
