A really important read.
This BBC article by my medical school friend Michelle Roberts highlights something I’ve been saying for years: dermal fillers are medical procedures, and they carry real risks.

If you’re considering treatment, ask the right questions:
• Does your practitioner use ultrasound to map safe injection planes?
• Are they medically trained, insured, and accountable?
• If something goes wrong, who will look after you?

Here in Jersey, complications from fillers performed by non-medical or uninsured practitioners can leave patients facing significant hospital bills — with little chance of recovering costs from a beautician.

Choose safety. Choose someone trained, insured, and equipped to manage complications properly.

There is a reason some "practitioners" aesthetic treatment is cheap. Botulinum toxin is very expensive and if treatment is cheap, there is always a reason. The most recent cases of Botulism have been caused when people have had treatment (see below) in either the practitioner's or client's HOME!!!
You don't have to come to an insured doctors medical clinic surrounded by other doctors but please don't have it in someone's home!!!!!
