Does walking feel… not quite right?

Samantha reached out to us after suffering almost a year of ankle pain.

“ I went to see Aaron Masefield and after having had 5 sessions as well as being fitted with some orthotics my ankle is now back to feeling better than normal and I have the confidence to go back to doing what I love, walking on the cliff paths! In addition, he has given me some daily exercises to do which are simple and quick and I have carried on doing them as I think they are really paying dividends. Feeling very grateful to have been part of the 45th London Marathon and raising over £3,000 in the process for Tiny Seeds. THANK YOU to everyone who sponsored me. THANK YOU to everyone for showing interest in my challenge, the support given, positivity and wisdom shared as I took on my first marathon in my 40th year.

It was eventful! The 4th hottest on record, I dropped my phone without initially realising but somehow managed to find it amongst the wave of runners, I helped 2 collapsed participants off the course to the incredible St John’s ambulance team (unfortunately one was less than 2km from the finish) and I think i’m about to lose at least 2 toe nails, but I got through it!

People talk about it but the support from the crowd throughout is incredible and thats an understatement (thanks Gordon Ramsey for the high-five power boost!). I kept my pace consistent from start to finish and completed in a time of 3hours 43mins.

Jersey physiotherapist, Adam, is tackling the London Marathon, and his daughter, Nina, is taking on the '1 in 6' Tiny Seeds challenge.
