Farewell to Dr. Gustavo Matias

Last Friday marked the final working day for our valued friend and dentist, Dr. Gustavo Matias, here at Indigo Dental Practice.

Gustavo is returning to his home country of Portugal to continue his dental career, and while we are sad to see him go, we are incredibly grateful for the tremendous dedication, skill, and compassion he brought to the practice and to our patients.

During his time with us, Gustavo’s passion for dentistry—particularly in aesthetic and restorative treatments—has made a lasting impression.

We know many of you will miss his kind and professional care, and we wish Gustavo all the very best in this exciting new chapter.

We’re also pleased to announce that Dr. Christian Lee (who some of you may have seen in our recent post!) will be joining the practice from 1st September as Gustavo’s replacement. Christian brings his own wealth of experience and patient-focused approach, and we look forward to introducing him to you soon.

📣 We are Delighted to Welcome Dr. Christian Lee to our brilliant team! 🦷

We’re very excited to introduce the newest member of our dental team – Dr. Christian Lee! 🎉

Christian will be soon making the move to Jersey and is thrilled to be joining our practice and the island community. With a passion for high quality, patient centred care, Christian brings a wealth of experience and a calming, professional approach to dentistry.

After graduating from Manchester Dental School in 2016, Christian has worked in a variety of settings – from busy practices in Liverpool and Manchester to a unique stint in a remote part of Iceland! Most recently, he’s been providing private care in Clitheroe, focusing on restorative and adhesive dentistry.

Christian holds Postgraduate Qualifications in Restorative Dentistry. He has a special interest and great experience in Endodontics (root canal treatment) and is happy to accept referrals from other dental professionals for complex endodontic cases.

We know he’ll be a fantastic addition to our team, and we’re looking forward to seeing the positive impact he’ll have on our patients and our practice.
