We’ve published the AI Playbook for Jersey, a framework to help our island prepare for both the opportunities and risks of AI.

Developed through the Jersey AI Council, the Playbook brings together government, industry and regulators to align on a clear, shared approach to AI adoption. It is supported by local stakeholders and experts including Professor Alan Brown and Dame Wendy Hall.

It sets out practical guidance for organisations, with a focus on where AI can have the biggest impact in Jersey, including financial services and the public sector, while also addressing the risks.

This is not a strategy. It is a framework built on shared principles to support responsible adoption and better decision-making across the island.

Alongside this, we’ve launched a new AI page, bringing together tools, events and support to help organisations take action.

Last week, we welcomed potential election candidates to the Digital Jersey Academy for our 2026 Election Briefing.

Together, we explored how digital, AI and skills are shaping Jersey’s economy and what this means for the Island’s future.

Our CEO, Tony Moretta, opened the session by setting out Digital Jersey’s role in growing our digital sector and skills and how this work supports islanders, businesses and public services every day.

Economist James Linder shared clear data on Jersey’s digital economy, including the size of the workforce and how investment in innovation can help improve productivity across the Island.

We also heard from Geraldine Evans, COO of Prosperity 24/7, who spoke about their 15-year growth story, as an example of one of our successful tech companies. She highlighted the value of support for businesses and shared how Digital Jersey now plays a key role in helping companies grow and succeed.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped drive an important conversation about Jersey’s digital future.
