Hi, I’m Kathy Mills.
I have over 25 years of experience supporting children and adults with their mental health. I specialize in neurodiversity and also help with challenges like anxiety, depression, and overall mental wellness. My approach is structured, goal-oriented, and focused on helping you understand your experiences and make positive changes.
I qualified as a social worker 25 years ago and have worked across many areas of mental health, including drug and alcohol services, child protection, forensic mental health, and education. I currently work as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner in the NHS CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services), supporting children with complex mental health needs. I also have training in CBT.
As a neurodiverse person myself, I understand how neurodiversity can impact mental health and bring this insight to my work. I started my private practice because I know how hard it can be to access support within the NHS. I want to provide an alternative—a space where you can get help when you need it.
I live on the west side of the island, working from an office within my home. Outside of work, I enjoy sports, walking my dog, gardening, and traveling with my friends and family.
If you’re struggling with your mental health, you have come to the right place. Contact me for a free consultation to explore how I can support you.
