I adore, appreciate, admire, but I don't worship people....Annoh just now! I remember when I graduated high school and the VP met mi on the corridors and she said, hi Miss Andrea, where are you now? And mi grin and answer, in the air Miss🤣...That day, many graduates were there to collect references and soh...Soh the VP was going down the line a fast, yes mi seh fast, cause she never like we...A long time mi dare to be different and noh fallah... Soh based on my answer, she complained to my strict, uppity granddad....Mi frighten when him asked if I was rude to anyone recently...Him jog mi memory till mi genuinely give up🤔...Even he admitted that some persons can be overly sensitive and want always to be revered soh just conform....Up to July, hundred years later, mi see har, and there is always a tension cause she know mi naah bow to har...She is a mother hen but me not har chicken...I respect, and admire, but I don't worship people. When you worship people, instead of developing yuh own principles and values, you lose your sense of reasoning and become biased, tunnel visioned, and gullible. That's how cult behaviours are cultivated. That's why nuff teachers dont like critical thinkers...critical thinkers don't conform...Teach your children to be respectful but be critical thinkers.
