Happy birthday I’ve celebrated your individual successes as much as you being the glue that held the family together like Big Momma. Now even though you have your own family where you turned my niece against me by threatening her with me giving her an injections if she’s rude, I still will be there to celebrate every milestone, birthday and special days that lay ahead. It was Friday night that I got this picture and I thought hmmm I need to reach out to Phillip it’s been a while. I never knew that less than 24 hours later I’d be learning of your death. Looking at this picture, our graduation day brings back memories of when we were in Nat Sci dreaming of getting into med school while cooking labs together. We made it to and we made it through and we went on to earn our DMs. Even though life drifts brothers and friends apart the memories live on. Being the two off campus Block Aye manz always lyming and playing basketball. Of studying and worrying about exams. Of OMD2k4 (IYKYK) and of just laughing because we just never took anything serious. I’m glad I saw you at the reunion and I’ll be at the next one watching your remembrance candle burn along with the other 2K4 fallen brothers and sisters. You lived a life of service and there are thousands who are better off because you were alive. I wish we could play one more three on three game bro. But God had other plans. RIP Dr. Phillip Brown. Miss you bro

Soooo I told a story to my team at Windsor that Danish butter cookies were my favorite cookies as a child. Sometimes I would visit an aunt, a grandmother or great grandmother and see the signature tin and open it excitedly looking for my favorite shaped cookies. Instead I would find needles and threads as that was their storage case. When I was on Block Aye, Chancellor Hall, myself along with my brothers Ghost and Addict started a gym on my balcony. We called it Club 50. The aim was to Get Fit Or Die Trying. Like 50 Cent. However it was soon clear to us that I could not on their level. So they put me in Club 25 Cents. But I worked hard over the years and improved not just my strength but my fitness levels. Now twenty years later here we are at Club 50. After all my determination and hard work, Ghost and Addict are still stronger and fitter than me. What did you expect me to say? Stop comparing yourself with others. Your standard is who you used to be. I’m no longer in club 25. I’m the one struggling to keep up with them when cycling. But I’m definitely in Club Fifty now.
