A common misconception is that autistic individuals lack emotion or empathy. In reality, many feel deeply, sometimes even more intensely, but may express it differently.

Understanding starts when we stop trying to “fix” differences and start learning from them.

Autism awareness has come a long way but awareness alone isn’t enough.

We don’t just need more conversations.
We need better ones.

Rebuilding the narrative on autism means moving away from deficit-based thinking and toward a more balanced, human perspective. One that acknowledges both challenges and strengths, without reducing individuals to either.

Because people are never just one thing.
And autism should never be reduced to a single story.

PEP is approaching and we know preparation goes beyond books and past papers.

Many students are carrying stress, pressure, and uncertainty during this time. That’s why we’ve created a supportive space to help both students and parents feel more calm, confident, and prepared.

Through this programme, students will learn simple, practical tools to manage stress, build confidence, and approach their exams with a clearer mindset while parents are guided on how to support them along the way.

What to expect:

1. 5 guided sessions (1 parent, 4 students)
2. Practical coping and calming techniques
3. A safe, encouraging environment to share and learn

Let’s support our children not just to perform but to feel grounded and ready. 🤍

Today we celebrate the women who make Tea House Therapy what it is.

In their various roles, each of them brings compassion, dedication, and care to the work they do every day, and we are deeply grateful. This International Women’s Day, the theme “Give to Gain” reminds us that when women support women, we all grow stronger together.

Happy International Women’s Day. 💜
