Please email all questions and inquiries to jakidney.kids@gmail.com. The Jamaica Kidney Kids Foundation (JKKF) is a charity founded in 2012 with the goal to improve the care of children with kidney disease across Jamaica, especially the disenfranchised segment of society for whom it is next to impossible to afford treatment elsewhere. We achieve our goals by:
- Hospital support: Providing supplies to hospitals that care for such children (e.g. supplying the paediatric dialysis service at the University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI) with consumables needed for life saving dialysis).

- Education: Hosting conferences, workshops, and public exhibitions to inform doctors and the public about new developments in renal care and the maintenance of good kidney health.

- Education: The JKKF Scholarship Fund – Assisted in sponsoring Paediatric Nephrology Fellowships abroad for 2 Jamaican paediatricians who have now returned as paediatric kidney specialists:one at the University Hospital of the West Indies and the other at Cornwall Regional Hospital.

- Family Support Group: Providing emotional support for families of children with kidney disease. The Directors of this Foundation are:
- Dr. Maolynne Miller,
- Mr. Craig Chin,
- Mr. Andrew Cocking, and
- Ms.Erin Hayle

Lots of water each day keeps our kidneys in good shape!
Make sure your child is properly hydrated, especially during the hotter days with lots of fluids to help flush out toxins in their kidneys.
