Road-ready but not essentials-ready? 👀

Ladies, before you hit the road and gih dem performance, make sure your bag is stocked with these necessities.

😽 Feminine products to ensure you’re protected from period mishaps and feeling fresh… and of course is a personal fave.

❌ Your contraceptive of choice is on board. Pro-tip, take this before hitting the road.

💦 Hydration is key! Ensure to drink lots of water and you can even walk with electrolytes. The road is long, and we need endurance. (And UTI prevention)

☀️ Sunscreen! Don’t forget to apply your sunscreen and reapply throughout the day. The costumes are beautiful, but we don’t need to be explaining the tan lines for weeks to come. Plus sun damage is not wearing for 2026. 😩

Front page is where legends belong, but in the f***y pack/ thigh bag is where legends are born! 😅

Pack smart. Stay ready. Show them the time of their life! 💃🏽✨

April is C-Section awareness month so let’s clear this up. C-sections are NOT the easy way out. 👏🏽

They are major surgeries that come with real risks, longer recovery, and strength most people don’t even see. Sometimes they’re planned, sometimes they happen in the moment, but every single one is done to bring the baby here safely.

To every C-section mama… I see you. I’m proud of you. You did something incredibly hard, and you did it with strength. 🤍

No matter how your baby arrived, your birth story is valid.

Over here we celebrate women every single day but especially in Women’s Month 💐✨

To the entrepreneurs building, the moms nurturing, the leaders rising, and the women showing up fully in every space… this month is for you.

I’m constantly inspired by the strength, resilience, and impact of women—past, present, and future. The ones who paved the way, and the ones continuing to break barriers every day in so many ways.

Big up you! You are seen and appreciated! 🤍

Happy Women’s History Month.

I know I’ve been M.I.A. in the space lately. I had to step away for a minute because life was LIFE-ING. Between work, business, motherhood, being a wife, and trying to figure out what stage my hormones are in 😅… your girl has been in the TRENCHES.

But we’ve paused, reset, recalibrated and now we’re back 💖

Not perfect, just real and ready to get back to the fun, relatable, informative content you love.

If you missed me, I missed you too 🫶🏽

So go ahead… tell a friend to tell a friend, your Gyne-Bestie is BACK.

Guess what… I’m back! 💛✨

I’ve missed my online community so much and I’m excited to reconnect with you all. Get ready for real conversations about women’s health, helpful tips, and of course, some smiles and laughs along the way.

Let’s get back into it together

✨ 5 Things I Wish You Knew About PCOS ✨

1️⃣ Not having polycystic ovaries on ultrasound does not mean you don’t have PCOS
2️⃣ Having a cycle every month does not always mean your period is regular. The gap between each cycle should be consistent
3️⃣ Brown blood does not mean you are dying. It usually means your flow is moving more slowly
4️⃣ PCOS is more than just your period, and leaving it uncontrolled can increase your risk for other illnesses
5️⃣ The best approach to treatment is a team effort

Here are some surgical and procedural treatment options for fibroids:

🩺 Myomectomy – Removes fibroids while preserving the uterus, ideal for women who wish to maintain fertility.
🧡 Hysterectomy – Removes the uterus and completely eliminates fibroids. Recommended if childbearing is not desired.
🌿 Uterine artery embolization (UAE) – A minimally invasive procedure that shrinks fibroids by cutting off their blood supply. Fertility after UAE is not guaranteed.

Managing fibroids looks different for every woman. Here are some non-surgical treatment options for fibroids:

🔹 Monitoring. If there are no symptoms you can continue to monitor the growth of your fibroids with yearly or twice yearly ultrasounds.
🥗 Lifestyle changes. Dietary changes such as reducing red meat, soy and processed foods and taking vitamin D supplements may help to slow the rate of growth of fibroids and prevent their re-occurrence
💊 Medications. You can use prescription and non- prescription medication to manage pain and heavy bleeding.
