Over 2000 students are denied the opportunity to complete secondary education because parents cannot afford to have them enrolled in a programme of assessment and treatment to manage the behaviours that challenge schools administrations. They are kicked out of school.
Thrown into a depraved society, these children are channeled into illegal activities and soon find themselves in prison. We are working to plug this pipeline to prison by providing a programme of behaviour and academic testing, along with counselling, tutoring and behaviour management.
In this structured intervention, students are provided with qualified professionals who interact with schools to ensure that these students remain in school and experience success.
A 15 year old girl was excluded from a number of schools because of inappropriate behaviour. When she came to the centre, her parents recognized for the first time that she could not identify the letters of the alphabet. That was where her intervention started. She is now working in a special programme and doing well. Other students who were at risk are now in colleges because of our intervention.
Help us to create awareness and to pay psychologists and tutors. Help us to save our children.
