a bar, restaurant, and swimming pool to complement the 1 and 2 bedroom cottages, hotel rooms, and a traditional 5-bedroom Jamaican Thatch House. Though not on the beach, there is a free daily shuttle to Negril's famous Seven Mile Beach. Sea access off the cliffs is a short walk to Rick’s Café and other famous watering holes. Summerset’s local charm is enhanced with the spacious and well-kept grounds with fruit trees within easy reach. From the upper verandahs, guests have a commanding view of the village. The Superior air-conditioned rooms have sitting areas with cable TV. The one- and two-story cottages are octagonal in shape with spacious verandahs, kitchen facilities, a 360-degree view of the village, and ceiling fans. The double cottages have 2 bedrooms, verandahs, share a kitchen and bathroom, and are ideal for couples or families. The Thatch House is ideal for groups with its kitchen, large verandah, and a romantic upstairs suite.

Nearby, is a convenience store where you can purchase all your basic staples. Looking for food items from your home country? Then contact the local taxi man, Bunny, and he will carry you to the nearest supermarket, which has a wide-selection of local and international foods. Want to be more creative in your cooking? You will find numerous local produce vendors around Summerset. Fruits and vegetables are available according to the season. Additionally, a produce vendor visits Summerset twice a week (for times, please speak with Chef Baker or Manager Ms. Campbell). Want fresh seafood? Also seasonally available, arrange with Bunny a trip to Negril’s fish market, where you will find a variety of fish, lobster, crab, and conch.
