GRATITUDE
Even in the heights of hardship, gratitude remains our anchor. The aftermath of Hurricane Melissa has tested every part of our strength, yet it has also revealed the depth of our community’s heart.
To all our supporters, friends, and those who truly know what’s happening behind the scenes, we thank you. Your messages, your hands, and your hearts have continued to carry us through these challenging days.
There are so many others who are experiencing a loss of a loved one or are still unreachable and experiencing threatening health conditions. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers, and as soon as we are able to, we will be right on your doorsteps lending a helping hand.
Members of our team, along with family members who are mainly affected at this time, hail from St. Ann, Deeside Trelawny, and Portland. Like many, whether they are unhoused or not, their monthly and daily expenses continue. Light, loan, credit cards, water, internet, etc. Not having some form of normalcy like going to work each day put a squeeze in an even tighter situation. It is our hope to return to normal operations soon and so utilizing our mobile services in any of the listed locations directly brings us one step closer to our goal.
A special thank you to for stepping in and assisting with the relocation of one of our team members. In times like these, having immediate housing is not just comfort, it’s a lifeline, and your generosity means more than words can express 🙏🏽
