Well, besides delicious, they are tiny little affordable 8 oz bottles that can add a good amount of protien, fibre and iron to any one's diet. Fibre is really important for flushing wastes out of the body while protien is important for building our bones, muscles and hair along with assisting reactions in the body. Finally, iron is important for providing us with energy! Without iron, oxygen cannot be sufficiently transported around our body, leaving us with symptoms such as being tired, drowsy, and with the inability to focus. Now iron is not something that is hard to get in your diet if you are monitoring in your food intake carefully, but because it is required in pretty high amounts and lost easily in metabolic processes, many people become iron deficient.
of the day: Try to monitor your iron intake, and anytime you are eating it from plant foods, try adding some vitamin c with it like bell peppers or strawberries to increase the uptake of iron!
