40% of girls in Latin America have experienced violence before turning 18.
Many are forced to marry before the age of 15.
It’s time to act.
When girls have access to information, support, and safe spaces,
They can choose, protect themselves, and move forward.

💬 Did you know 1 in 4 girls in Latin America has missed school because she didn’t have menstrual products?

That shouldn’t be happening — but it still is.

This May 28, on Menstrual Health Day, we’re being clear:
Menstruating shouldn’t mean shame, silence, or barriers to learning and living with dignity.

🔻Menstrual inequity happens when there’s no clean water, no safe restrooms, or no access to basic hygiene products.
🔻And even though it’s a natural process, the stigma is still very real.

At AHF, we believe dignified menstruation isn’t a luxury — it’s a matter of well-being.
That’s why we advocate for access, education, and respect for everyone who menstruates.

📢 Let’s talk about it. Let’s share it. Let’s normalize it.

💡 Did you know that early detection can save lives?
If you have a persistent cough, fever, night sweats, or weight loss, it’s time to see a doctor. 🚨 Don’t ignore it!

💰 The fight against TB needs more resources: the world requires $22 billion annually for prevention and treatment, but funding remains insufficient.
At AHF, we urge governments to prioritize the fight against tuberculosis by strengthening health systems and closing the funding gap. ✊🏽
