We fast to quiet the noise.
To soften the heart.
To release what no longer serves us.
To come back home to God… and to ourselves.

the essence is the same:
clean the inside,

3.Say “no” without guilt — pleasing others at your own expense drains your energy.
4.Shorten or limit meetings with people you feel heavy around — your energy is not public property.
5.Stop explaining yourself — those who want to understand, will.
6.Take quiet time for yourself every day — even 5 minutes can restore your balance.
7.Protect your mornings — start your day without news, complaints, or arguments.
8.You don’t need to respond to everything — not everything deserves an answer.

When water is left uncovered for hours, it doesn’t stay chemically isolated.
It can absorb airborne particles, odors, and environmental exposure.
During sleep, the body and nervous system release metabolic and physiological by-products into the surrounding air. Water placed nearby becomes part of that environment.
Drinking that same water in the morning reintroduces what the body was meant to release.
