Our first school training of 2026 was alongside the wonderful educators at The Little Academy! The training delved into understanding neurodiversity, early identification of student challenges, classroom accommodations and sensory integration, literacy development and classroom supports, and managing challenging behaviors!

Seeds of Hope school trainings and workshops provide educators with a mix of lecture-style presentations, group work and activities, practical strategies, and case studies. If you need any support at your school, dont hesitate to reach out to us to learn more about how we can support educators at schools.

كان أول تدريب مدرسي لنا في عام ٢٠٢٦ بالتعاون مع نخبة من المعلمين المتميزين في مدرسة ليتل أكاديمي!
تناول التدريب فهم التنوع العصبي، والكشف المبكر عن التحديات التي يواجهها الطلاب، وتوفير التسهيلات اللازمة في الفصول الدراسية، والتكامل الحسي، وتنمية مهارات القراءة والكتابة، ودعم الطلاب في الفصول الدراسية، والتعامل مع السلوكيات الصعبة.

توفر دورات وورش عمل "مركز بذور الأمل" التدريبية مزيجًا من المحاضرات التدريبية للمعلمين، تشمل العمل الجماعي والأنشطة التعليمية، والاستراتيجيات العملية.

All about the SENCo! Ms. Laura Cook from the International Community School joined us this past Sunday to speak with our caregivers about the role of the Special Educational Needs Coordinator and the importance of advocacy for neurodivergent students within the school setting. We are proud to collaborate with dedicated educators like Ms. Laura, who champion interdisciplinary teamwork, in-school therapy support, and the fulfillment of every neurodivergent child’s right to meaningful inclusion in the classroom. We look forward to seeing you all at our next gathering!

انضمت إلينا السيدة لورا كوك من مدرسة الجالية الدولية يوم الأحد الماضي للتحدث مع أولياء الأمور حولدور منسق الاحتياجات التعليمية الخاصة وأهمية دعم الطلاب ذوي الاحتياجات التعليمية الخاصة في البيئة المدرسية. نفخر بالتعاون مع معلمين متفانين مثل السيدة لورا، الذين يدعمون العمل الجماعي متعدد التخصصات، ودعم العلاج داخل المدرسة، وتحقيق حق كل طفل من ذوي الاحتياجات التعليمية الخاصة في الاندماج الفعال في الفصل الدراسي. نتطلع إلى رؤيتكم جميعًا في لقائنا القادم!

We are delighted to welcome Ms. Laura Cook, Assistant Headteacher & Whole School Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) at the International Community School, as a speaker at our caregiver support group on Sunday January 25th! She will be presenting the talk “All About School Support: Working Together to Support Neurodivergent Children”

Ms. Laura will be discussing the role of a SENCo, best ways to advocate for neurodivergent children in the school setting, and therapy within the school setting. Looking forward to having a community powerhouse share her experience with the Seeds of Hope community!

Sharing with you part one of this past Sunday morning with Mrs.Lisa and Ms.Farah Barajakly getting back in touch with our selves. Ms.Farah provided our wonderful caregivers with self care plans and some daily tips on how to refuel.

We are stronger when we share our feelings, take part in activities that replenish our energy, and remember that a happy parent allows for a happy child 🩵
