This salad has a very nice taste with the combination of beets and quinoa,the strong taste of beets is soothed by the quinoa. In addition every single ingredient in the recipe has powerful antioxidant ingredients. Quinoa will be colored in pink affected by the strong beet pigment.
Ingredients
4 small steamed or baked beets
One cup boiled quinoa as instructed
One bunch chopped parsley
Dressing
Lemon juice
Olive oil
Sea Salt
Decoration
Green onions Julian cut
Pecan
Chia seeds
Method
Cut beets forming Julian cut, add the rest of the ingredients. Add the dressing, mix and decorate #دايت #سلطة #شمندر

Pink Quinoa

Pumpkins Season:
Pumpkins are extremely low in calories, high in fiber, and most important carotenoids. Carotenoids are responsible for the yellow-orange color of pumpkins. Carotenoids with both beta and alpha carotene had lead pumpkin to become a natural super anti-oxidant. Beta-carotene consumption had been linked to lower lung, colon and breast cancers risks. Alpha-carotene has a direct anti-carcinogenic activity. Luckily 80% of a pumpkin serving are carotenoids. Don’t forget to enjoy different recipes for pumpkins.
