DR. ASH JARBO is an Internal Medicine Specialist at Carbonear, NL, Canada. Prior to starting his private practice, Dr. Jarbo worked as Internal Medicine/Critical Care Specialist at CARBONEAR GENERAL HOSPITAL, NL, Canada in 2013-2016. Dr. Jarbo completed M.B.Ch.B. “Medicine” at Al-Mustansereyah University, Baghdad, Iraq in 1992-1999. He did his Clerkship Training from Iraq and Jordan in 1999-2000. He completed his Cardiology Externship at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center, Denver, Colorado, USA in 2006 and his Internal Medicine Residency Training at Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. John’s, NL, Canada in 2008-2012. He further did his Critical Care Medicine (one year training) at Western University, London, Ontario in 2012. His previous work experiences are as follows: Family Physician at Al-Zarqa National Hospital, Jordan in 2000-2001; Family Physician/Emergency Department Physician at Marka, Hospital, Amman, Jordan in 2000-2002; Family Physician at Emirates Hospital, Dubai, UAE in 2003; and Family Physician at American Hospital Dubai, UAE in 2003-2008. Dr. Jarbo was admitted as a Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada and entered in the Canadian Medical Register in 2009. He is certified in Critical Care Ultrasonography and Bronchoscopy since 2012 until present. He also got certificates for the following: Fundamental Critical Care Support, International Trauma Life Support “Instructor and Provider”, Pulmonary Artery Catheter Education Project, and Operational Disaster Life Support. He is affiliated with the following: Harvard Medical School Postgraduate Association at Boston, Massachusetts, USA; RCPSC (Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada); CPSNL (College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador); American College of Gastroenterology; North American Society of Obstetric Medicine; American College of Physicians; European Society of Critical Care Medicine.
