"The Silent Notes of Dance*

In music, it’s the silent notes, the pauses, that allow each melody to breathe and echo more deeply. Dance has its own silent notes—moments of stillness that cradle movement, shaping each step like waves retreating before they rise. These pauses are more than quiet breaks; they’re the rhythm within the rhythm, the breath beneath every motion, allowing the body to listen and feel. In stillness, we find the space to savor each movement, to dance not just with our bodies but with the energy in between. The silent notes reveal a hidden tempo, a gentle reminder that sometimes the most powerful steps are the ones we take in stillness.

Ironically, true authenticity often comes through controlled folly. Trying to be authentic contradicts its essence; you start when you stop trying. Looking for authenticity in those who claim to have it is like learning happiness from a perfect Instagram profile—more illusion than substance.

The same goes for Contemporary Arts. You can create a space for inspiration, but you can’t teach it. Trying to replicate it contradicts its very essence.

Controlled folly helps us connect to our true essence by observing the follies we've created to adapt to society. This awareness gives us a better understanding of who we truly are. When we experience ourselves as who we are not, we gain clearer ideas of our true selves.

"how babies transform spontaneous movement into purposeful action?"

"Living things act with purpose. But where does purpose come from? How do humans make sense of their relation to the world and realize their ability to effect change?"

Their findings shed light on how the organism (baby) interacts with its environment (mobile), marking the transition from spontaneous to intentional behavior.
