New Video Alert: Staging Laparoscopy for Endometrial Cancer with Challenging Factors
In my latest video, I walk you through a complex staging laparoscopy for endometrial cancer in a patient with a Body Mass Index of 38 and a history of two cesarean sections. This case presented significant challenges, including the need to de-vascularize the uterus, dissect the bladder via a lateral approach, and perform a pelvic lymphadenectomy. While the procedure was particularly difficult due to tortuous vessels and the patient's obesity, I was able to successfully complete the lymphadenectomy.
Watch as I share insights, techniques, and strategies to navigate these challenges during laparoscopic surgery. I hope this video provides valuable tips for my colleagues dealing with similar cases, and helps you refine your skills in complex GYN oncology procedures.
