Shakeeb Khirfan group was established in 1939 and it is a company that deals with manufacturing, importing, exporting and wholesaling various food products. Shakeeb Khirfan group is a privately owned company. Our location in Jordan allows us to provide superior customer service to wholesalers, major restaurants and institutions throughout the country and Middle East.
In 1977, a new soft drink was introduced to the Jordanian market called “VIVA”. During its first 3 years after launch took 30% of the market share in Jordan and a 50% market share of the Jordanian market thereafter. This success got the attention of Pepsi Co. to approach our company in the late 1980’s to offer us the bottling license for cans and PET units. Offer was accepted.
In 1996, the Jordanian government released the ban on importation of main commodities to the private sector. Therefore, the company has expanded their activities to deal with a greater variety of foodstuff product commodities such as rice, sugar, coffee, pulses, grains, canned food, nuts, edible oils, dairy products, spices….etc, home care products (washing powder/liquid) and other fast moving items.
